Admiral Mohab Mameesh, chairman of the Suez Canal Authority and Suez Canal economic zone stated that president El Sisi is the true hero behind the success of the new Suez Canal as well as the Egyptians who financially funded and supported the project.
The Chairman of the Suez Canal Authority and Suez Canal economic zone showed the second and third generation of Egyptian youth in Australia a film showing the journey of the new Suez Canal project, stating “this is just a simple indication of what Egyptians can achieve and for that you should always be proud of our country”.
The events took place during a visit organized by the Ministry of Immigration and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs for the second delegation of the second and third generations of Egyptians in Australia, in the presence of Ambassador Nabila Makram, Minister of Immigration and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs, Admiral Mohab Mameesh, chairman of the Suez Canal Authority, and Mr Glenn Miles, the Australian ambassador in Egypt.
The visit was intended to witness the work process in the new Suez Canal and all the surrounding projects, with the cooperation of the Ministry of Youth and Sports according to the protocol signed between the two ministries to connect the second and third generations of Egyptians abroad to their motherland, Egypt, In compliance with Egypt’s vision to incorporate its youth in sustainable development processes.
The visit complies with the framework of the program organized by the ministry for the second and third generation of Egyptian citizens in Australia, so that the delegation would be better acquainted with the nature of the domestic situation in Egypt and the challenges and risks facing the country at the current stage.
