Governor of Ismailia welcomes Admiral Mohab Mameesh

Admiral Mohab Mameesh, chairman of the Suez Canal Authority and Suez Canal economic zone, stressed on the care and concern of President Abdul Fattah el-Sisi for all the national projects in progress in the Suez Canal, which aim to achieve a great paradigm shift in the development of Sinai and eastern Suez Canal. During the meeting of Major General Hamdi Othman, Governor of Ismailia, with Admiral Mohab Mameesh, the Admiral added that the economic zone will soon become the largest of its kind in the world and that the Suez Canal is the core of development.

 


The Admiral noted that the work is carried out throughout the day to implement the national developmental projects in the region and to simultaneously expend the establishment of various economic and development activities in addition to providing different job opportunities for youth. Moreover, it’s planned to develop the infrastructure and to establish power plants, water desalination plants, interconnecting utilities to all project sites in the area. The Admiral also assured that the new projects are the cornerstone to implement the directives of the President of the Republic.

Hamdi Othman, Governor of Ismailia, praised the role of the Suez Canal Authority for its participation and active contributions in the developmental projects that are being implemented in the region, stressing on its significance for the community and the citizens of Canal and Sinai.
