Admiral Mohab Mameesh, chairman of the Suez Canal Authority and Suez Canal economic zone, assured that no matter what we to honour Egyptian woman it won’t be enough.
During a ceremony held today to honour Egyptian woman and mothers the Admiral said that “Egypt stands on its feet thanks to Egyptian woman, that’s because they’re the mothers, wives, daughters, and sisters who we ask God to bless them with a long life to contribute to the building of our society.”
President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi attended the ceremony organised by the National Council for Women to honour Egyptian mothers.
During the ceremony many groups of respected woman were honoured including disabled mothers, mothers of children with disabilities, surrogate mothers, mothers of martyrs of the armed forced and police as well as some distinctive female role models.
The government reviewed women’s empowerment plans and issues related to women’s right. During the ceremony, Governmental efforts which have been put to provide social protection for women who most need it, training programs to prepare and qualify woman for the labour market, and providing loans to women to establish small and micro enterprises were presented.
