President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi is keen on encouraging direct investments in the Suez Canal Zone

Admiral Mohab Mameesh, Chairman of the Suez Canal Authority and the General Authority of the Canal, assured that President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi is keen on encouraging direct investments in the Suez Canal Economic Zone to attract foreign capital investments.
 

Admiral Mohab stated that the Suez Canal was built by our forefathers, who dug with their arms and blood, and we will continue the journey. He also stated that each generation should deliver the next generation the dream of owning projects capable of revitalizing this region and Egypt in general.

The Chairman of the Suez Canal Authority, said that a difficult time has passed, after living a climate of division among the Egyptian people as a result of the actions of the previous government, and we needed a national project to restore unity among the people again. The new Suez Canal project is the real beginning of the return of unity among Egyptians once again. The Admiral stressed that the new Suez Canal project was able to shorten sailing time and provide services that didn’t exist before.

Admiral Mohab Mameesh pointed out that investors and businessmen around the world are interested in investing in the Suez Canal region due to the stability of the investment climate currently witnessed in Egypt. Also due to the presence of many customs, tax and export incentives provided by the Suez Canal Economic Zone to investors.
