Mohab Mameesh about June 30: “If the People Ever Wanted Life, Fate Would Have to Respond”

Admiral Mohab Mameesh, the Chairman of the Suez Canal Authority, saluted the Egyptian people on the sixth anniversary of the glorious June 30 Revolution. When asked about his feelings, he replied, “If the people ever wanted life, fate would have to respond”.

Mameesh added that Al-Sisi was strong and courageous in taking the decision, pointing out that he was responsible for the Canal at that time. He did his best to secure the ships in the Suez Canal and so navigation continued safely.

The Chairman of the Suez Canal Authority added that the people were in need of hope. As for the officials of the Authority, they were carrying out their work yet their hearts supported the people. At last, darkness was over and Egypt returned to its people. He also said, “We started to see the infrastructure of the state and development in all fields”.

Moreover, Mameesh noted that president Al-Sisi brought light again pointing out that the project of the New Suez Canal reunited the Egyptians restoring nationalism and achievements.
