Mameesh Opens the Exhibition of “Shuryan Al-Khair” at the Museum of Modern Egyptian Art

Admiral Mohab Mameesh, Chairman of the General Suez Canal Authority, opened the art exhibition of “Shuryan Al-Khair” on the 63rd anniversary of Gamal Abdel Naser’s decision to nationalize the Suez Canal International Company as an Egyptian Joint Stock Company. The opening of the exhibition occurred today, Friday evening, at Al-Bab Hall in the museum of Modern Egyptian Art at the Egyptian Opera House.

Admiral Mohab Mameesh Receives the First Graduates of the Presidential Leadership Program (PLP), Organized by the National Training Academy for the Qualification of African Youth

Admiral Mohab Mameesh, Chairman of the Suez Canal Authority and Head of the Economic Zone, received today a youth delegation from the trainees of the Presidential Leadership Program for the qualification of African youth, organized by the National Training Academy. The delegation included 120 young trainees from 29 African countries, including Egypt. Dr. Rasha Ragheb, the Executive Director of the Academy, headed the delegation. The visit occurred at the Maritime Simulation and Training Center of the Authority in Ismailia. A number of the Suez Canal Authority leading officials and leaders of the National Training Academy attended the visit and shed light on the New Suez Canal project and the giant development projects carried out in the Canal region.

Mameesh: The Suez Canal Economic Zone Has Recently Achieved the Highest Revenues Since Its Establishment.

Mameesh to African Youth: Al-Sisi Is a Hero Capable of Doing the Impossible

His firm decision was to dig the New Suez Canal in a record time. The Egyptian people participated in this great project providing financial support for the digging of the new channel.

Admiral Mameesh: We Intend to Establish Tourist Ports in the Suez Canal

Admiral Mohab Mameesh, Chairman of the General Authority of the Suez Canal, said that the Authority intends to establish tourist ports in a number of coastal areas overlooking the project of the Suez Canal development. He explained, “Our aim is to benefit from the enormous potential of the region through attracting tourist ships and visitors to coastal cities such as Ain Sukhna, Port Said and Al-Tur that lie in the south of Sinai region.”

With Investments of 110 Million Euros, Egypt and the European Union Agree on Projects for 2020

Admiral Mohab Mameesh, Chairman of the Suez Canal Authority and Head of the Economic Zone, and the Ministers of Electricity and Renewable Energy, Investment and International Cooperation, Local Development and Environment held a meeting with Ambassador Ivan Sorcous, the EU Ambassador in Cairo. Representatives of the Ministries of Investment and International Cooperation, Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, Petroleum and Mineral Wealth, Irrigation and Water Resources, Planning, Follow-up and Administrative Reform, Agriculture and Land Reclamation, Trade, Industry, Local Development and Economic Zone of the Suez Canal were present to discuss future projects between Egypt and the European Union (EU) for the year 2020.

Mameesh: Launching the First Training Center in the Economic Zone with Investments of more than 22 Million Euros.

Mohab Mameesh, Chairman of the Suez Canal Authority and Head of the Economic Zone, announced the launching of the first vocational and technical training center in the Economic Zone in Ain Sukhna within days. The investments of this training center exceed 22 million euros represented by the Egyptian-German Technical Training Academy. The aforementioned Academy is an entity that represents the alliance between Siemens AG and German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development represented by the German Agency for International Cooperation in coordination with the Suez Canal Economic Zone.

Suez Canal Economic Zone Is a New Platform for the World Trade Movement
